Michael W. Tomasso
 Principal

Michael is a principal in The Tomasso Companies. Michael is responsible for helping to guide TBI’s strategic direction and monitoring corporate developments.

Michael has been active as a principal, officer and employee in a number of Tomasso businesses including Tenergy Water, LLC where he currently serves as President.

From 1986 to 1993, Michael was President of Geodyne Resources, Inc. and Manager of the PaineWebber/Geodyne Energy Income Programs. During that time, he also served on the Board of Directors of PaineWebber Properties, which managed a two billion-dollar real estate portfolio.

Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Babson College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Tufts University. He has been active in a number of civic and business associations. Michael currently serves on the Boards of Directors of CTG Resources, Inc., and Central Connecticut State University’s Institute for Industrial and Engineering Technology.

 

J. Leo Gagne
 Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer

Leo joined The Tomasso Companies in January 2000. As Chief Financial Officer, Leo is responsible for all aspects of Financial Management. Leo will assist in reviewing budgets, evaluating performance, establishing financial controls and insuring proper accounting assistance to project.

Prior to joining TBI, Leo was Vice President and CFO of Triton Thalassic Technologies, Inc., Ridgefield, CT, a high tech manufacturer of equipment utilizing patented ultra-violet light technology. Prior to that, Leo was Vice President and CFO of Trident International, Inc., Brookfield, CT, a publicly traded manufacturer of proprietary inkjet products. Leo was also a senior financial executive with Arthur Andersen, LLP and a former Partner in the accounting firm of Cahill, Larkin, PC.

Leo is a Certified Public Accountant. He graduated from the University of Connecticut. He has been active in a number of civic and business associations including the Association of Builders and Contractors, the Construction Financial Managers Association, NACORE, the Connecticut Technology Council, the Entrepreneurship Institute and the Connecticut Venture Group.
